QuickShop Website Policy
1.2 Purpose
This Website Policy establishes the rules, guidelines, and procedures governing returns, deliveries, and related fees for customers using QuickShop’s online platform. It ensures transparency, consistency, and compliance with consumer rights and company standards.
- Scope
2.1 Applicability
This policy applies to:
• All customers (new and returning) who place orders through the QuickShop website.
• All QuickShop employees and third-party providers involved in order fulfillment, delivery, returns processing, and customer service.
2.2 Exclusions
This policy does not cover in-store purchases or orders placed via phone unless expressly referenced on the website.
- Definitions
3.1 “Customer”
An individual or business entity that places an order on the QuickShop website.
3.2 “Order”
A request submitted through the website for one or more items offered by QuickShop.
3.3 “Return Window”
A 24-hour period beginning at the time of customer receipt, during which a return request may be initiated.
3.4 “Repeated Delivery”
Any additional, separate delivery attempt for the same item(s) after the original delivery has been completed or scheduled.
3.5 “Delivery Fee”
The charge assessed to a customer for transporting goods from QuickShop’s warehouse to the customer’s delivery address.
- Policy Guidelines and Requirements 4.1 Returns 4.1.1 Eligibility • Customers may return any item for any reason within the 24-hour Return Window. • Items must be in original condition, with packaging and all accessories. 4.1.2 Return Process
- Log in to your QuickShop account and navigate to “My Orders.”
- Select the order and click “Request Return” within 24 hours of delivery confirmation.
- Print or download the pre-paid return shipping label.
- Package the item securely and attach the return label.
- Drop off at the designated carrier location or schedule a pickup.
4.1.3 Refunds and Credits
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item.
• If the item is defective or shipped in error, QuickShop will cover return shipping costs.
4.2 Repeated Deliveries and Additional Fees
4.2.1 Policy Statement
• To optimize delivery efficiency and minimize environmental impact, QuickShop charges an extra Delivery Fee for repeated attempts to deliver the same item(s).
4.2.2 Fee Structure
• First Delivery Attempt: Standard Delivery Fee (as displayed at checkout).
• Second and Subsequent Attempts: Standard Delivery Fee + Repeated Delivery Fee (20% of the item’s shipping cost).
4.2.3 Customer Responsibility
• Customers must ensure the delivery address and availability details are correct at checkout.
• QuickShop will notify customers of any failed delivery attempt via email and SMS, including instructions to reschedule.
- Procedures and Processes
5.1 Order Confirmation and Delivery Scheduling
• Upon order placement, customers receive an Order Confirmation email with a delivery estimate.
• Customers may modify delivery date or address up to 12 hours before the scheduled delivery.
5.2 Handling Delivery Failures
- Courier attempts delivery.
- If undeliverable, courier marks the package “Return to Sender.”
- QuickShop notifies the customer and offers options: reschedule delivery (with fee, if applicable) or cancel order.
- If customer opts to reschedule, additional delivery fees apply per Section 4.2.2.
5.3 Returns and Refund Processing
• Returns arriving outside the 24-hour window are subject to review and may be refused or incur a restocking fee.
• Once returned items are inspected, refunds or credits are processed and confirmed via email.
- Compliance and Consequences of Non-Compliance
6.1 Customer Non-Compliance
• Failure to adhere to the 24-hour Return Window will result in denial of return or a restocking fee of up to 15% of the item’s price.
• Refusal to pay additional delivery fees for repeated attempts will result in cancellation of rescheduled deliveries.
6.2 Employee/Provider Non-Compliance
• Employees or contractors who fail to follow this policy may face disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
- Disclaimers and Legal Considerations
• QuickShop reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Notice of material changes will be posted on the website and, where required by law, emailed to registered customers.
• This policy is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws governing consumer protection and e-commerce. To the extent of any conflict, such laws prevail.
• QuickShop is not liable for delays or losses due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, carrier strikes, or acts of government. - Company Culture and Tone
